BJ Take Inc. is a manufacturer of energy efficient light fixtures and retrofit kits. Founded in 1995, we have grown to become an established manufacturer and designer of energy efficient lighting products. While offering a line of standard products, we also manufacture custom fixtures and retrofit kits for our customers.
In 2010 we realized a need; specializing in custom kits and fixtures is a daunting task, with customer drawings, prototypes, samples and redesigns the process was too inefficient. With this inefficiency, along with a rapidly expanding product line, we came to the conclusion that we needed to upgrade our design software. We were introduced to Autodesk Inventor and started to realize its potential. With the ability to design our products in 3D and have our customers approve the design before anything was manufactured would be a huge cost and time savings. Also, with the expanding product lines, Inventor would be able to reduce the time it took for us to launch a new fixture line.
Before we met with Phillip (Owner of MoraisTech Solutions) we didn’t realize the potential of MoraisTech Solutions. He first visited our factory and talked with us about our needs, expectations and visions. From there he explained to us what he could offer and what we could potentially do with Autodesk Inventor and the subsequent programs that were available to integrate with it. From the beginning, Phillip was pivotal in the implementation of the new software and the training that was needed to use it. He was always available if we needed anything or had any concerns.
